Loki’s Main Characters, Ranked by Power Level

Most of the characters in Loki have special abilities, but some are more powerful than others in different ways. What about its top main characters? Here are 10 of them, ranked by their levels of strength.

10. Mobius M. Mobius

Mobius is a beloved character among the fans, but he clearly lacks strength. While his main qualities reside in his listening abilities and witty responses, Mobius can’t even take a kick from Renslayer effortlessly knocked down to the ground, his old age probably is one of the key factors to his weakness in battle. He even has to have security minutemen with him to do any job in the field!

9. Hunter B-15

Hunter B-15 is simply another TVA minuteman who isn’t nearly as strong as the other characters. B-15 can survive a battle on her own, especially when she battled Renslayer’s guards in the Timekeepers’ chamber skillfully, and – this is the big part – gets through the entire series without being pruned! B-15 is also strong in smarts, as she spoke wisely and calmly to Renslayer even when frustratingly captured in a tiny Time Cell.

8. Judge Ravonna Renslayer

Renslayer is a discerning high court judge and determined to hide the truth about the TVA’s creator (until the finale, when she walks through a Timedoor in search of freewill to who knows where) but doesn’t have any superpowers of her own. She let Sylvie get away as a child even when she had the chance to do something about her, then was overpowered by the same Variant with ease later on in her life. Renslayer’s skills should still not be underestimated, though: resetting Loki, regaining consciousness by herself, and holding up in a fight against Sylvie for a considerable length of time are far from simple!

7. Boastful Loki

Boastful Loki ended up betraying his team of Loki variants to join President Loki’s side (right before Alligator Loki violently bit off the candidate’s hand), claiming to defeat the Avengers and receive the prize of all six Infinity Stones, making him an intimidating enemy in battle. With a muscular build, a variant hammer, and the abilities of a Loki, DeObia Oparei’s character is not to be messed with: there’s a reason why he survived this long in the Void!

6. Alligator Loki/Croki/Lokigator

Sorry that he’s only #5. I know a lot of you think of Alligator Loki as the superior Loki – and he might just be. But Alligator Loki is just like any other alligator out there, just wearing golden horns like the other Loki variants and with a mischievous, sensitive personality. His Nexus event was eating the wrong neighbor’s cat, something he doesn’t want brought up in any conversation – look what he would’ve done to Boastful Loki if Classic and Kid Loki didn’t stop him – just make not sure not to call “Lokigator” simply an alligator!

5. Kid Loki

Kid Loki is a kid, but that doesn’t mean he’s any less powerful! One of the Loki variants who assists the main Loki on his journey to what’s beyond Alioth at the end of time, he carries a golden flaming sword and deserves respect as he is the king of the four main variants. But you can’t even start to understand how strong Kid Loki actually is without knowing his Nexus event: Apparently, he killed Thor – the God of Thunder and Loki’s powerful brother who’s always stealing all the attention – which is a really, really big deal. Really. Even Thanos couldn’t do that!

4. Loki

Loki is the main character of his series, and he is… well, definitely pretty powerful. He possesses various magical powers that he learned from his adopted mother Frigga, knows how to wield two daggers impressively, and has the superhuman abilities of a Frost Giant (since he is the son of Laufey). However, this doesn’t mean Loki is unbeatable: in close hand-to-hand combat, the god of mischief is bound to lose, as even a kick from Sylvie or a TVA minuteman could knock him to the ground (which, of course, would lead to his famous hair flip).

3. Classic Loki

Classic Loki is not a character to be underestimated. He has the capacity to wield tremendous power all under his complete control, unlike Wanda’s chaotic energy blasts of scarlet magic, demonstrated to the full when he created a huge realistic illusion of Asgard to distract Alioth. Classic Loki’s superpowers seem to mostly focus around illusion-casting, as he created an image of himself so believable that even the Mad Titan (Thanos) fell for it and could make mirages of him, Loki, Kid Loki, and Alligator Loki to fight off President Loki’s team of variants while the real versions of themselves escaped.

Is there anything this guy can’t do? Faking death while floating around as “inanimate debris” isn’t a trick anyone can pull off!

2. Sylvie

Of course, Sylvie. She’s proven herself to be a strong and dangerous variant, elusive enough to evade the TVA’s capture for so, so many years and even outwit the main Loki in some scenarios. While she can be quite hotheaded (especially when she stabbed He Who Remains without considering the consequences first), her machete sword, wits, magic, and superhuman abilities all combined together add up to make her quite a powerful character. Now, the question comes up once again: is she truly the superior Loki?

1. He Who Remains/Kang the Conqueror

Who’s been pulling every evil string? It’s been Kang all along! The man behind the curtain is finally revealed in Loki‘s finale to be He Who Remains, aka Kang the Conqueror (although the name Kang is never spoken in the episode), played by the one and only Jonathan Majors confirmed to reappear in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in 2023. Kang is so extremely powerful that he wove together strands of time to create the Sacred Timeline, a Kang-free timeline where everybody would supposedly live in “peace and order” to end the wars between the Kang variants.

He also influences the multiverse’s fate greatly, being He Who Remains and basically the only one who remains to be in control of reality, space, and time: his dangerous and much worse variants are already starting to conquer the branch timelines and change the TVA as we know it. The “all-powerful” Time Variance Authority, an organization running the place where nobody can use their powers or magic, was all created by this one apple-crunching guy..!
