WandaVision Characters Who Could (Or Will) Return in Future MCU Projects

Which WandaVision characters have a potential of returning to the MCU? There are actually quite a few other than Wanda playing a secondary role in Doctor Strange 2, so here are all of the individuals who definitely deserve more screen time in future projects.

10. Ralph: He Could Be a Bigger Deal Later

Ralph Bohner was revealed to only be some random Westview guy, nothing to do with Fox’s mutant Quicksilver or Mephisto, but this doesn’t mean that he can’t be a big deal later on in the MCU’s future: since Agatha chose him as her victim, there must be something more important to his story than just being a fake Pietro used to extract information out of Wanda. It’s still unconfirmed if Evan Peters (Ralph actor) is coming back anytime soon or later, but MCU officials are definitely not crossing out more Ralph appearances yet…

9. Vision: He’s a Lovable Character That Wanda Needs

Not only do we need more of Vision, but Wanda needs her beloved husband in her life: without him, she collapsed in an outburst of Chaos Magic and left Westview remembering her as a villain. However, even Paul Bettany claims that he doesn’t know if he’ll ever return to the MCU, so if Vision doesn’t return, hopefully he can still at least be playing a version of Vision as White Vision.

8. Jimmy Woo: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Could Bring Him Back

Let’s get this straight: Jimmy Woo makes everything better. His sense of humor, smiles, and coffee are just what we need for a lighthearted character in a superhero movie. And being introduced in Ant-Man and the Wasp as Scott Lang’s parole officer, it isn’t out of the picture for him to come back for its sequel Quantumania: Randall Park (actor of Jimmy Woo) is unsure if he’s going to star in the film, but hey, there’s still time! (That X-Files-like spinoff is still getting considered…)

7. Darcy Lewis: She Deserves to Be Featured in Thor: Love and Thunder

Before helping S.W.O.R.D. and studying astrophysics, Darcy Lewis was a simple, helpful intern for Jane Foster in the first two Thor films. So, why not bring her back for Love and Thunder? She deserves to have more screen time, so she could finally get it here, considering her connection to Jane (who has been confirmed to somehow become the new Mighty Thor in Love and Thunder).

6. White Vision: His Story Can’t Stay Ambiguous For Long

White Vision’s story is basically only getting created by S.W.O.R.D. with Wanda’s energy, flying into Westview and trying to crush her head, battling Vision and then chatting with him about the Ship of Theseus, having his memories unlocked by Vision, and then flying off to who knows where. Complete life? Everything but that! People who miss Paul Bettany (virtually everybody, right?) will be happy if White Vision returns in Black Panther 2 to find out about the vibranium he’s made out of, or some other MCU project like Armor Wars – a future series focused on stolen Stark tech – to stop his storyline from remaining ambiguous.

5. Skrull S.W.O.R.D. Agent: She Could Guide Monica Rambeau to Nick Fury in Captain Marvel 2

The beginning of Captain Marvel 2 aka The Marvels could show the Skrull S.W.O.R.D. agent unveiled at the end in the WandaVision finale’s first post-credits scene bringing Monica Rambeau “up,” which could possibly mean up into space since the Skrull mentioned meeting a friend of her mother (who is probably Nick Fury), leading directly into the upcoming movie. This Skrull’s name should eventually get revealed also since she clearly has a bigger purpose in the MCU.

4. Agatha Harkness: The Insidious, Perfidious Witch Has Become a Fan-Favorite

Agatha Harkness is the insidious, perfidious witch, currently trapped as the nosy neighbor in Westview, played by the unforgettable Kathryn Hahn and one of the most powerful MCU magic users introduced so far (besides Wanda, Doctor Strange, and the Ancient One, of course). Nearly everybody wants her to come back as the owner of the hit earworm “Agatha All Along”! With Wanda’s line to Agatha about her coming back if she needs more training, Agatha’s bound to return sometime to boost movies and shows’ scores… Doctor Strange 2 – or anytime sooner – is a great time for her to show up!

3. Billy and Tommy: Set Photos Show Them Filming Doctor Strange 2

Jett Klyne (Tommy actor) and Julian Hilliard (Billy actor) simply can’t keep secrets, so they spilled the beans and shared photos of them on the Doctor Strange 2 set over Instagram! Unfortunately, these pictures cannot be inserted into this article since the boys had deleted their posts before the news spread further: however, the knowledge still exists and we know that Wanda’s sons didn’t really die in the Hex. My theory: Mordo has captured Billy because of his magical abilities (Billy will become Wiccan and the Sorcerer Supreme in the comics, and Mordo wants to rid the universe of all sorcerers.) and Tommy tries to fight back, so Mordo decides to capture both of them in a different dimension.

2. Monica Rambeau: She Returns in Captain Marvel 2

Teyonah Parris has been confirmed to reprise her role as Monica Rambeau in Captain Marvel 2, and the young Lieutenant Trouble has grown up into a strong, brave leader by now: she could rejoin Carol Danvers and Nick Fury to form the team of “Marvels” including Ms. Marvel. Seeing Monica’s change over the years and how she becomes a good person independently without her mother will undoubtedly be an important point in Captain Marvel 2

1. Wanda Maximoff: She Returns in Doctor Strange 2

Trying to control her magic and emotions, Wanda is currently in hiding studying the Darkhold – the same book that may be putting her under its writer Chthon’s control – and expanding her sorcery abilities. How could Doctor Strange ever find her now? Apparently, Loki head writer Michael Waldron rewrote the Doctor Strange 2 script after Sam Raimi replaced Scott Derrickson as director, and the new script involved changes to Strange and Wanda’s first meeting in the film.  While it’s still unclear if Wanda will play her role in the sequel as a hero or villain, Doctor Strange 2 has wrapped filming and Elizabeth Olsen claims that it is a “bonkers” movie definitely going for a “horror show vibe.” The wait will finally be over next March!
